We are on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to lead the online presence of our two dynamic fintech products: Tradewyre and Geotopup Wallet App. This is a remote, full-time opportunity open to talented individuals based in Nigeria who are ready to make a meaningful impact.

The Role: Social Media Manager

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll take the reins of our social channels, develop and execute high-impact strategies, and create content that drives user engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including graphics, videos, reels, and infographics.
• Manage community interactions, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online presence.
• Leverage AI tools for content planning, trend analysis, and performance optimization.
• Launch and monitor targeted campaigns to increase traffic, app downloads, and user engagement.
• Stay updated on fintech and crypto trends to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
• Design graphics and edit video content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and refine strategies based on data insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, product, and customer support teams.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of social media management experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, or digital banking.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work in content creation and campaign management.

Technical & Creative Skills

• Exceptional command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, TweetDeck, and Meta Business Suite.
• Design and editing experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Pro, and CapCut.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney for content automation and optimization.
• Solid understanding of fintech and digital payment trends.
